Order of play (BluOS / Node 2i)
AnsweredHello,
can you confirm that the track's numbers embedded in the MEDATADAS are the FIRST criterium (criterion?) that your OS takes into account to order the tracks ?
Furthermore can you write us precisely which criterions are taken into account after that, and in which order ? (I would say : tracks's numbers in the metadatas and then tracks's names in the metadatas, and the file's names, am I correct ?)
THANKS.
M.D.

Hi Michaël
We technically look at Disc Number first in case it's a double album or Box Set. Please ensure your Album and AlbumArtist tags also match throughout the Album.

surely there is a value that comes before the track number and it is the file extension. I find this absurd. I have some folders with files of different extension and the bluos order puts on top in files with better quality.

It's not about filtering. In a folder with different file types bluos puts hi res files first. Even if they are not the first in track number id tags. In the end I cannot have the tracks played in the order I would like. Hi res file will be always played first.

The image below is an example. The numbers on the left are the track number id that i edited in the tags.
I would expect the player to sort the tracks in that order. Instead, in this case, it creates two block of tracks. The first is hi-res files (credence is an acc file). The second is of mp3 files. I have only seen this behavior on bluos. Every other players i used prioritize the track number id in the id3tag
