I posted this in the helpdesk.bluesound discussion board so sorry for the duplicate. A couple of responses to that message confirm that this is not an isolated issue. Hoping someone from Bluesound will respond.
I often use the Folders view to find music to add to the now-playing queue (I store my music in folders by Artist then sub-folders for Album). There is annoying behaviour in the Android app where after exiting an Artist Folder in the main list (say, for example, an Artist beginning with the letter "M") to go back to the main list (i.e., all Artists view), the parent list goes back to the beginning or top of the list (i.e., it reverts to Artists beginning with letter "A") rather than return to alphabetical spot where the folder was last exited (in my example, Artist beginning with letter "M"). This means that after selecting a song and moving back out to the main Artist folder view, in order to select the next alphabetical Artist (say Artist starting with letter "P"), I have to start scrolling from the very top, down pages and pages in order to get back to my last spot in the Artist. With 1100 Artist folders, this becomes extremely tedious.
The iOS and Windows version of the app work fine and do not return to the top of the main Folder list as described above, so I'm guessing that this is a bug in the Android version of the app. Would be great if this could be fixed. Thanks.
