Unable to detect or mount shares
AnsweredMy old NAS; Netgear Duo works perfectly with my Node2.
My Node2 will however not detect nor mount my Music share on my new NAS, Netgear 314.
The only difference I can see is that the old Duo aklso supports CIFS whereas it looks like that is not an option in the 314. I have tried resetting the Node2 and starting from scratch but to no avail. Any ideas as to what I'm missing?

Hi Jens
The newer Netgear 314 may call it Windows File Sharing, SMB or SAMBA. All these terms are relatively interchangable with CIFS and different generations of the same protocol.

Hi Tony,
Thanks for answering. That's not the problem then as I've got SMB enabled on my music folder as well as DLNA, NFS and AFP.

I have a recently purchased T758V3 and I can only see "music library" under settings. I can see that I have local shares, but there's no place on the blues controller to access them. Permissions have been checked, I've read the various how to's on OSX set up, etc. I've reindexed and yet, nothing. I thought the front page of this app would default to showing my library because that's the sense I get form the online pictures of this program. I would appreciate some help.

Using Win7, I was advised on the Facebook group to switch on Legacy Windows Discovery for SMB, and that fixed the issue.
