I’m new to streaming and could use your help.
I purchased Bluesound Node 2i and got it a couple of days ago. I connected 2i to L/R analog connection on back of Marantz SR 7011. There wasn’t a specific connection for 2i (or streaming audio) on 7011. So, I connected 2i to 7011 analog connection (labeled AUDIO IN ASSIGNABLE), one that I am not using. I renamed that assignable analog connection from DVD to HI-RES AUDIO using the 7011 options to do so.
Then, I downloaded 2i app to my iPhone6s. Powered up 2i, 7011, went thru 2i set up procedures (correctly, I hope).
Then, I signed up with Beta USA Qobuz Studio plan. Downloaded the software, set up that app, connected, powered up 7011, selected HI-RES AUDIO input on 7011, streamed Qobuz album labeled HI-RES.
BUT, a CD graphic (and the other stuff) displayed on Qobuz app on iPhone. The music I heard thru 2i and 7011 sounded good, but according to the displayed graphics, it was CD quality, not HI-RES.
Did I connect correctly? Do I have right Qobuz plan for HI-RES streaming?
Did I reassign Maranza SR 7011 analog correctly? Should this reassignment be changed to digital, or remain analog? Are there settings in 2i, Qobuz, or 7011 that must be further calibrated to stream HI-RES — that I might have overlooked?
When I stream the same Qobuz album just to my iPhone, the HI-RES logo displays on my iPhone and I can hear music. Maybe that means the HI-RES album streaming from Qobuz to 2i to iPhone...BUT, not to 7011?
Any help you can offer will be greatly appreciated.
