Hi Bruce
Please fully uninstall the BluOS App from your tablet via Android Settings. Power down your tablet and restart it. Once completed, download a new fresh version of the App from Google Play and reinstall it.
If the problem persists, please e-mail us at support@bluesound.com as we are going to want more specifics such as the make and model of your tablet and which Android version you are using.

I have the same issue.. Tried 2 different phones.. Installed Uninstaller restarted.. Only msg I get is location permission is needed to scan for wifi with bluos app.
I even manually gave the bluos full permissions but still will not connect1 -
Same issue with current version (3.8). 3.6.2 version works though. You can get it from here: https://apkpure.com/bluos-controller/com.lenbrook.sovi.bluesound
