    Hi Olivia

If your DAC is not MQA compliant, you should not turn on 'External MQA DAC'. You should leave it off. You will then receive a single MQA unfold and up to 24/96. Turning it on will mean Bluesound will not process any MQA and you will be receiving the lowest sound quality as no MQA processing will happen at all as we are relying on an MQA DAC to do all the work.

If you do not have an MQA DAC and are listening to MQA, you should not use any external DACs and run your Player directly to your amplifier using the analogue RCA connectors for full MQA playback up to 24/192.

Try it out and let your ears decide.
