Also Amazon is still not fully integrated. Cannot add songs to playlists etc. Bluesound has not sent any updates for months and I think it’s a dying solution amidst larger competition now.

    Dear Spotify,

If you read this, please help us and offer lossless audio. You have proven that you know how to solve these problems.

    Kind regards,

    A really frustrated hifi lover

Isn't it possible to use the same api as mconnect or bubble upnp who already offer support for my mixes ??

Is BlueSound still actively developing their products and software? I have n't seen updates for a long time. Nothing is happening with regard to TIDAL integration and support for 'My Mixes'.

Does anyone know if Spotify has any plans to support lossless streams? I have also started looking at alternative hardware, because the combination of BlueSound and TIDAL is a problem for me. The gap between the functionality of the native TIDAL app and what is offered in the BlueSounds controller is just too big. I hope another vendor can do better.

    Dear developers/managers,

I actively support Jan's request. I am still hoping on using BluOS from the tidal app. The great advantage of this is that you can continue listining to an album which you were already listening to elsewhere (e.g. the car, the bike, walking). The gap between Tidal & Bluesound is indeed bigger than it should be.

    Best regards,

    Geert

While I appreciate that Tidal is the problem, surely Bluesound has enough clout to push Tidal for this. The BlueOS app is good, but discovering new music via Tidal is non existent. Would really love more feedback than just the usual (we are chatting to Tidal about it) I work in a software company, so understand how these things work between vendors.

    Hi Ryan

We do lobby on your behalf of all our mutual consumers to make a better experience for all but at the end of the day, you, the paying customer has more clout than we do at times. Thanks for understanding.

Are you even doing anything to solve this? It’s sad to see how little improvements are made to the blue sound app and services. The app is not user friendly and that you can’t use tidal in the same way as using the native tidal app, is sad.

Tony w.: you talk a lot, but don’t say much. Your response is so vague, that it feels you aren’t really interested in your customer.

Hi Tony. I don't believe that to be the case. Your platform draws people to Tidal. Normally partners have more power than individual paying customers. And you know exactly how many customers are using Tidal through your platform, so you have way more say than I do as an individual.

    Hi Tony,
To prove you're wrong, this is a part of the answer (referring the same issue) I got from Tidal on may 21:

"After assessing your issue we advise you to contact BluOS Customer Support directly. They have developed the app that interfaces with TIDAL and will be able to further help you resolve the issue. They will also need to reach out to their TIDAL contact as needed."

I'm happy to share the entire conversation with you, but I'd rather see Bluesound and Tidal start communicating as mature partners focused on service to their joint customers

Does anyone know of other vendors of audio streamers that do properly support TIDAL and My Mixes? I am tired of waiting.

That's an option, but I spent € 500 for a bluesound module with my NAD equipment. At such a price, good service should go without saying!!

I just bought a BlueSound Node 2i in the hopes that spending 2x SONOS Connect would buy me something. Yes, some hi-resolution, but ONE REALLY SHITTY APPLICATION.  TIDAL integration is INTEGRAL to the marketing of Bluesound devices, if you want to multiply your sales. So, why is it that the stand alone Tidal application is SO much better than Tidal piped through the BluOS application. It seems to me that the two companies need to get together and figure this out. Bluesound, please let us either get full high resolution from the Tidal app to the Bluesound devices, or get us the functionality we need. Tidal through BluOS is stripped to the naked bone and that's just not good enough.

In my opinion the integation of Tidal within the BluOS isn't that bad. I have many of my discs ripped to a

harddrive, which is connected to my Powernode. When i now play one of these songs, i can do a search

to TIDAL to find other songs or albums of the artist. I cannot do this with Spotify.

I can store My Mixes if i create in the TIDAL app a new playlist, click on the first song in the mix, go to the

last song, press and hold shift on the keyboard and click on the last song, so every song in the list is highlighted. Now i click with the left mouse button and hold it on the highlighted songs while i pull them

on the new created playlist on the left side.

This new created playlist can now be found by the BluOS app under

    TIDAL->My Music->My Playlists.

    Hi Alexander

My Mixes has been supported in the BluOS since early 2019.

What I did as a workaround : buy a chromecast audio (set up with high dynamics) and an audioquest forest ... Since I use a high end dac the sound quality is equivalent ...

@Tony, I didn't see it in my node 2. Any special trick ?

    Hi Tony,

In that case I have failed to see the new feature for a year and a half (all the other users here with me). Would you be so kind to point out where I can find it?

Please select Help, About in the App and ensure you are on the latest versions. BluOS 3.8.13 and Apss are 3.8.x or higher. To upgrade your Player if you have not been prompted, please select Help, Check for Update. Apps can be updated from www.bluesound.com/downloads.

If you are on the latest, please ensure your TIDAL subscription is up to date by selecting Music Services and logging out of TIDAL. Select Help, Diagnostics, Reboot to restart your Player. Once your Player returns to blue then log back into TIDAL.

If you STILL cannot see My Mixes, contact TIDAL to see your account is in good standing.

    Hi Tony,

This makes no sense. This whole thread is about the fact that this part of Tidal was never available in the BlueOS app. Why was nothing said ages ago? I am baffled?

Surely if this was resolved in 2019, the thread should have been closed and treated as resolved?

It has not been solved. I don’t see mixed anywhere in the app.

Where is even some innovation at bluesound? The app sucked a year ago and still sucks. There are so many other ui issues.

But the my mixes... I can’t find them. Can you make a screenshot tony, so I can see where I need to look?

    Hi Tony,

The suggested fix doesn't work. There is nothing wrong with my Tidal Subscription as I can play full HIFI and Masters from the Native Tidal and BluOS app.

But My Mixes does not exist.

Doesn't work. Nothing wrong with my account, Tidal app works perfectly. I also don't understand why this has not been communicated earlier, apologies would be appreciated. A working feature, also.

  • Robert Brugman

That is weird. How do you get that?

This is what I have, no My Mix. Or did you save them yourself ?!?

  • Ryan Sudding

I also don't see MyMix in that section. I am on iOS App 3.8.3 and BlueOS 3.8.13 and still nothing.

Tried the workaround from Tony without success

No Tidal Mixes on W10 desktop app, Android App nor on iPad. Latest versions everywhere. Mixes work perfectly on native apps on all devices.
