No power after update and power off/ power on
after updating my Node 2 on Christmas Eve, I was no longer able to play any music through my Node 2. I finally decided to bypass the Node 2 and send my music directly to my Bluetooth enabled speakers. I tried again today with no luck, so I unplugged the Node 2. On plugging the Node 2 in again, nothing happens. No lights, no sound, and I can’t see it in the Bluesound app.
Please help.
Thanks,
Greg Steiniger

I have a similar problem with my Bleusound node 2i (3days old). I put it in Vacation mode and then changed it from location (so no power). Put the power back on and no reaction of the node.
Tried a different wall outlet but it isn't coming back online. So I returning the equipment to the store and buy a different brand (that will last longer than 3 days :))

This happened to me as well, a few weeks ago, with my bluesound pulse mini.
I have tried different cables and outlets, without luck. I only found this thread now, and suspect I have the same issue.
Is there a way to revive it?

Hi Sumant - send us details and your contact info at support@blueosund.com. We may want to know the serial number so include that. It's on the back or bottom of each player starting with a H or K.

I bought a new Bluesound node 2i and this one works fine. So I'm happy again :)

I have two Pulse Flex 2 speakers. After updating them they would will no longer power on. They were like two dead paperweights. The actually worked after the upgrade, but after powering them off, they simply would not power on again.
They are working again! I disconnected the power cable from the back of each unit, reattached the power cord, and behold—they both powered up and are working again.
Hope this works for others experiencing the similar a similar issue.

Hi Scott
Please remove the battery pack and plug the Player in to see if it starts then. Once it starts, reattach the pack to charge it.
If however, you do not have any battery packs or this tip does not work, please e-mail us the serial numbers of the players to support@bluesound.com

Hello,
I now have a dead Pulse mini that was stuck on step 1/4 of an update. Unplugged then plugged again, dead unit.
I went through many steps to solve the issue with Bluesound support crew. They couldn't resolve the issue and confirmed that the unit is dead.
Very frustrating as my unit is only 5 years old and I cross my fingers at each update for my two other Powernodes.
These soundsystems should last much longer than 5 years and it is abnormal that a S/W UPDATE killed it.
Bluesound offered me a 20% discount to buy a new one. Considering the cost increase after 5 years, the new price is the same as I paid 5 years ago... I'll have to go to consumer protection law.
Beware of poor Bluesound longevity.
