Scroll bar with alphabet for folder list, like in the song scroll

While working from a mobile device (Android) when you go to Library -> Artists then select an artist, then scroll the list of their tracks, a nice scroll bar pops up along the right side. Drag this scroll bar and you can see the alphabet roll by. 

It would be really nice to have this same functionality in the folder view, but I don't find it there. Some of us have a large number of artists and scrolling becomes very tedious.

  Thanks for the feedback. I will pass it along for future consideration...

  ...but it might be a limitation of the Indexing process. Folder view is not an actual field in the index, just a simple directory listing of what is stored where. I know no body wants to hear this but the real solution is to clean up the metadata.

  Ah, good point, if the index is what drives that feature it would be trickier.

  As for the metadata, I've been working on that! Although I'm not sure good metadata would help with scrolling the folder list. With over a thousand folders a lot of scrolling is required!

  It will help with the Searching and sorting by Artist/Album/Composer...

  ...and yes filing is never fun.

  My problem with the scroll bar is that it is too narrow.  (MacBook Pro).  Takes a few pokes to grab it.  My suggestion would be to make the scroll bar wider or fatter.
