Optical Input Disappears from navigation drawer
AnsweredI have a Powernode 2i - new yesterday - and using optical output from TV. On installation it upgraded firmware.
If I plug TV into optical input 1 it is listed in the navigation drawer. I can select and it it works. However, if I go back into the navigation drawer the optical input is no longer listed (but continues to work). If I select another source I cannot switch back to TV. If I unplug the optical cable and put it back in, the input is listed again and can be selected.
If i use optical input 2, the input is always listed in the navigation drawer.
This happens on both Andoid and iOS app

Hi Simon
Congrats on your new POWERNODE 2i.
Glad you found a work around. I would like to have our QA Team look at this though. Can you please, when you get a chance, select Help, Send Support Request in the App and fill out the online form - in the description just reference your issue.
This will send us a copy of the system log file of the Player so we can try and reproduce and resolve in a future firmware update. Thanks for #LivingHiFi

I am having the exact same problem on my Bluenode 2i - optical input disappers. This is absolutely not ok and you saw the error 1 year ago and haven't done anything to fix it - I am not happy

Hi Urich
I'd agree with you. This isn't good enough, and spoils an otherwise excellent piece of kit. Since I'm currently only using 1 optical input - and for me this only applies to input 1 so using input 2 is OK - I wasn't aware this hadn't been fixed. Bluesound - it has to be a bug - either app or device. Get it fixed...

Hello Ulrich,
If you are experiencing this issue, please fully disconnect the cable from both the Node and the source, the firmly reconnect on both sides.
If afterwards the issues still persists, please reach out to our support crew with a diagnostic log via Help > Send Support Request so a member of the support crew may troubleshoot further.
Regards,
Sam R.0
