    Hi Steven

    Thanks for the feedback.

Our audio scan process only looks at media files. An ISO file is a back up file  and cannot be scanned. Doing so may create other issues and cause adverse affects to the Indexing process.

What you should do, is find a media conversion utility (and since it matters, don't be afraid to pay for one, many have free trials that will do partial rips to evaluate) and convert those ISO back ups of your SACDs to 24/48 FLAC files.

Once you have the FLAC files, BluOS will easily store them and play them back.

All that being said, I will pass it along for consideration...

An ISO file is not a backup. It's a container. SACD ISOs play fine on most reasonable DAPs. Both my FiiOs play them.

I would like ISO playback everywhere but the issue is manufacturer fear of RIAA railroading rather than a technical issue. So I play my SACD rips on foobar... the OP can look into a Chinese device if he wants to play SACD ISOs. They are less afraid of lawsuits.

I got the same answer suggesting conversion from Roon, so I ended my trial and I will not buy Roon. I'm not going to buy a piece of hardware or a GUI front-end to my music collection and then spend time converting my music into a form it likes. That's really not an acceptable answer. And you should not convert SACD rips into 24/48 anything; SACD is 2.6MHz DSD. If you convert it, you may as well convert it in a way that you don't lose quality.

Bluesound is very nice but lack of native DSD support and ISO support is annoying.

Can't agree more - this is why we perform a single one time conversion rather than convert on the fly; https://support.bluos.net/hc/en-us/articles/360019447014

That is only if you have already ripped your SACD ISO into separate files...then this is an additional conversion step which should not be necessary. It is only required because Bluesound does not support SACD nor DSD ;)

In my view it does not solve the problem. It just reinforces the idea that there is a problem rather strongly!

What is the sample rate and bit depth of the resulting FLAC file?
