I have reviewed your documentation and comments on external playlists and have been played with several ideas. I remain puzzled. I'd like to create a playlist file, store it somewhere on the NAS drive and have BluOS pick it up.
I understand that BluOS will validate the paths, so I am testing with simple and valid examples. My understanding is that a single invalid path will cause the playlist to not load, correct?
I can put an .m3u file in an album folder, just a list of the songs, which works. This is the format I used for one (these are the filenames):
01 - Voyager.flac
02 - What Goes Up.flac
However it doesn't seem to follow paths. So if I put a file on the root of my NAS music like this it doesn't work:
I have heard of a layer limit... does it only do a couple or something like that?
Should it allow me to select a full album? Like this? The defacto format definition seems to allow it:
I wish I could have a _playlists folder with files holding content like this:
Could I get a clue about how the playlist parser works and what is within its capabilities?
Thanks... I'm really enjoying this BluOS world! Great job so far...
