    Hi Boes

I am sorry to hear this. Assuming the optical Cable is connected from the TV to the Bluesound Player and not directly from the Apple TV, double check your cable box ad make sure audio is being sent to the TV via the HDMI port.

Review your TV documentation as well.

If problems persist, please select Help, Send Support Request in the App so we may review the log file. When you do that, let us know the make and model of the TV and who your cable provider is as well.

First remark before proceeding deeper : the optical cable is connected from the TV to the APPLE TV IN (optical cable) and from APPLE TV OUT to the bluesound bar (optical cable).

It works, except the problem I mention. I could try the opposite but I only saw an IN entry in the bluesound bar and no OUT.

It wont work that way Boes...

Apple TVs must stay awake to be a bypass and as soon as you change sources, the Apple TV goes to sleep.

Send everything to the TV IN and then send the TV OUT to Bluesound.
