Pulse Flex 2i Speakers
AnsweredHi new to Bluesound products.
Can anyone help? I have a Vault 2i and have just bought a Pulse Flex 2i speaker to go in my bedroom. I have managed to pair the speaker with the Vault via a LAN only and they show as a pair in the drawer. However I CANNOT get the speaker to go fully wireless and use the Vault as the player. I have paired it via a LAN cable. When I unplug the LAN the speaker dies. I have looked in all if not most of the articles in relation to wi fi, none address making the speaker wi fi enabled. I cannot use a LAN upstairs as I my Hub is downstairs! Anyone any ideas or fixes? I am using a Kindle Fire as a controller, and it works really well. Can I only use an online provider for music as that is not how the Vault was sold to me? Thanks in advance.

Hi David
The VAULT 2i is a wired only connection to allow for a reliable connection when serving ripped CDs to other Players. I am sorry to hear this wasn't more clear.
You can look at options such as a wireless bridge or powerline ethernet kit to virtually wire your VAULT. Your Bluesound Reseller can help you out here.

Thanks for the reply. I was talking about the speakers being LAN wired. At the time of posting my computer would not find the speaker worelessly. It would only find it via a LAN connection. I have my Vault 2i LAN connected as per the instructions. I have added my speaker to wireless 'devices' now. A friend remotely connected and helped me through the process.
