We are using a Bluesound soundbar and a Pulse player. Both are connected to our network via Ethernet cable. Bluesound app with Tidal streaming worked fine with no music cut outs.
Recently we switched to Spotify with their Spotify Connect integration.
Now we are experiencing problems with the constant Spotify streaming on the Bluesound Soundbar. Music stops playing after a few minutes or sometimes even seconds and in the app we can see that it reverts to Optical Input when that happens.
This issue does not occur on the Pulse player. Streaming via Connect seems to be stable there.
The only setup difference btw the 2 players is, that the Soundbar automatically goes into the optical cable mode when TV (Sony Bravia model) is switched on.
We did de- and re- installed both apps, Spotify and Bluesound, reset the Soundbar to factory settings.
Any ideas to solve this annoying problem?
