To BlueSound Tech folks:
I have a BlueSound Node 2 and am pretty happy with using it as a streamer/DAC, but have this question about it.
Many other manufacturers tout the importance of reducing jitter by use of an asynchronous DAC and also accurate clocks like "femptoclocks" to improve the sound quality of the analog output of the streamer/DAC system. Like the AURALiC and Deviolet products for example.
I can't seem to find any information about the Node 2 internal system. I've seen some people reluctant to use the Node 2 only as a streamer to their asynchronous DACs since the the Node 2 does not have a two-way USB output to make that work. You've recommended people just try the Node 2 DAC and see what they think.
To it makes a lot of sense to integrate the streamer and DAC functions since that would seem tp present a great opportunity on the asynchronous/clocking front.
I can't really find any information about the Node 2 so BlueSound does not seem to emphasize this issue. Can you tell us anything about the Node 2 (or Node 2i) in this regard?
Thanks so much!
