    Hi Maarten,

Thanks for reaching out to provide your feedback. I will bring this up with our Quality Assurance team to see about having password protection added in a future release.

As a note, the settings for your Bluesound devices can only be changed by someone connected to your home network. If your wireless network is password protected, then your Bluesound devices will also be protected.

We are always looking to build and improve upon the BluOS App and take any feedback we receive under consideration to provide the best possible experience for those who use the app.

    Thanks again,

    Jade L.

The WebGUI and the file share should be password protected.

    Thanks

The WebGUI is an "open door" in the network. Any guest who has access to the home network may compromise the devices' configuration, play arbitrary content at high volume or gain data about the local network.

This security issue should be closed at the soonest possible time. A GUI protected with a strong password is the minimum security that we expect from an internet-enabled device.

I plan to use one of my Flex 2i at work and don't want others on my work network to be able to modify my settings.  Password protection would be very useful.

    Hi David

Please be advised that Bluesound Players are consumer grade and may not work on most corporate networks as Multicast is often disabled in enterprise environments. Newer networks require 2-way authentication - again something not required with IoT Appliances...

Check with your IT Group first to avoid a number of headaches. That being said, it's a great Bluetooth Speaker...
