    Thanks for your feedback

We are ready when Pandora is. Until then, feel free to use our Bluetooth connectivity; www.bluesound.com/bluetooth

Add my vote to that. This is rediculous that we still, after several years, don’t have a solution better than Bluetooth.

This is inaccurate information.  I have been told by Pandora that they have the APIs in place and the delay is with Bluesound, not Pandora.  BLUESOUND - HOW ABOUT BEING TRUTHFUL WITH YOUR CUSTOMERS?

    I'm sorry Gary,

I'm really not sure how we can be more truthful other than our Software Development Team have had repeated conversations with Pandora's Business Development team over the years and for what ever reason, they have denied our request for their professional development API on multiple occasions. It may have to do with our Bluetooth implementation already meets their needs or satisfaction but they have yet to officially confirm that.

We have talked internally about other non-professional or unapproved Pandora implementations but feel this would be a dis-service to our consumers as it is not the right implementation and would in fact jeopardise an official professional implementation agreement.

I again apologise for the inconvenience and hope you understand we are as frustrated as you are.

This is the text of the response that I had received from Pandora, back in February:

    Hi Gary,

Unfortunately, that device is not yet supported. Due to the interactive nature of Pandora, we do not stream audio using playlist files like many other online radio/shoutcast streams. As a result, it doesn’t work without some additional development on the part of the hardware manufacturer.

Currently, the home streaming devices that support Pandora natively are listed here: http://www.pandora.com/everywhere/home

We are working hard to make Pandora available everywhere, so stay tuned!

I have just followed up with Pandora and will advise the community what its response is.

While we are the subject of streaming - what about streaming Sirius/XM.  I am able to stream Sirius/XM on my iPhone, on my Amazon Echo Device - but not on any of my 3 Bluesound players.

Just to keep this alive. I made this request years ago, when I bought the original node. I am literally waiting for this one request before I purchase another 3 nodes to replace squeezebox setups.

I was today looking at returning my recently purchased Sonos Port devices and switching to Bluesound. I'm a bit fed up with Sonos's aggressive approach around deprecating older devices so I felt a change might be in orde.r

But here I discover their lack of support for Sirius XM and Pandora, two of my most used music services.  It also appears that plan to support these services is vague to non-existent, per the 2+ year age of this thread.

So there goes that plan, I guess I'll stick with the devices that support my music sources.

Am I reading this correctly that after years there is no Pandora streaming support?

I wouldn't use Pandora even if it were available.  Amazon HD and Qobuz sound much better

    Hi,

Just new to the Node 2i. I bought this as another player for my living room. I know that there are other music streaming services and favorable to others. I been with Pandora for years and I want to stay with them and keep their business alive.

Juicing out of the iphone might not be a good idea. I bought the Node 2i and a Denon Heos Link. I have no problem setting up and running on both although there are few questions I need to ask both customer support. Its been 3 days now and I couldn't get anyone on direct line with bluesound.
