    Hi Per

We have noticed an issue with Panasonic IR Codes not working - we are currently beta testing a solution and hope to release in the coming days.

    Thank you for your patience.

Please e-mail us the model number of your Panasonic remote at support@bluesound.com and we can speak with our engineering department and find out if it is included or not.

Thank you Tony W, for fast response. After unplugging an IR extender from the TV, the power node started to respond. Never heard of such interference. A no name (Chinese) IR extender.

To be able to keep the TV IR extender (receiver) unplugged, I will need to use Power node 2 IR in with an extender. Can you recommend any IR extender for PN2?

    Thanks again for great support!

  • Ahhh... you never mentioned an IR extender. You will need a powered IR extender. Please look at brands such as Niles, Speakercraftnor Xantech.

Hey Tony, I hope you can help me. I’m using the CALRAD 47-130 IR extender, but I’m not satisfied with it. I think the signal is not strong enough. Although there is a symbol on my TV screen telling me that I’m trying to control the loudness, the Node 2 doesn’t react, unless the distance between my remote control and the IR “eye” is less than 2 m. Then it works perfect.

Is there a better solution (Niles or Speakercraftnor Xantech) and if so, which type donI need. Please advice me.

    Kind regards, Herman
