Strange Issues if you name your network-share like "BluesoundFlac", "Bluesound", "BluesoundM4A"
AnsweredI found a strange issue last week.
I created new shares on mac mini named" BluesoundFlac" and "BluesoundM4A" for my different music file types.
After re-Indexing my library, I can browse through the mounts and their (sub)directories, but there are no music files...
At first I assumed the disk-format (extendFAT32) and then I tried NTFS (like my other attached and successful mounted/indexed Lacie-USB drive with flacs)
and again the same issue.
I checked the logs and all files on these mounts are "not able to be find"...
Well I removed the shares again and renamed them and voila - the files are now available and indexed.
If you need logfiles - please let me know - I can reproduce it multiple times ;-)

Hi Alfred
Could be a permissions issue; https://support.bluos.net/hc/en-us/articles/360000481727
Also we have seen some odd security issues with USBs attached to computers and then shared. Have you considered connecting the LACIE directly to your router.
If you are still having issues, please select Help, Send Support Request and we will be happy to assist with a remote session.

hmm, my "Router" is a Barracuda NG Firewall with 8 Port-Hub (I'm working for this company, so I don't have to pay for it *g*) - and my MAC MINI is currently my "NAS" - I will attach a QNAP NAS only for music later this year...
In fact I can sort out any permission related issues...
But as soon as I would implement my NAS - I will keep you updated ;-)
(currently I don't want to rebuild/re-index my whole library with toooo much songs ;-)) -
