I was trying to install multiple bluesound players today and the same problem appeared with all of them. I did the initial WiFi setup and the network was accepted, the LED turned solid blue, howver the installation always stops afterwards indicating an error and that I need to repeat (with a big X in the middle of the screen). The players are apparently connected succesfully, however they do not appear in the drawer. I repeated after a factory reset and it didn't help. The only player visible is a Pulse 2 that was purchased much earlier (new home and new network today). Today I tried with 2x FLEX and a Soundbar and it did not work. All players function when connected with a network cable. When I run diagnostics of the one player that is connected by a network cable, I see ALL other players listed as "other players", so they are indeed connected with the WIFi network but do not appear in the drawer. I tried with two different iOS devices and a Mac.
To make it even more confusing - no player (not even the visible Pulse 2) appears as an option as a player in Spotify (connect). One of the FLEX players appeared shortly and I was able to play Spotify on it, without it appearing in the drawer, however, now it is not present anymore.
I set the network to 2.4GHz /auto channel /20MHz, and disabled the 5GHz channel,
I would appreciate any advice or assistance on how I can resolve this.
