I'm having exactly the same issue as described here. Windows app version 3.0.26. I tried the suggested solution - Settings, Reload Artwork and a message appeared 'Notice: Artwork cache has been removed' but it did not correct the problem. My entire music library is on the connected USB drive and it's working fine otherwise and as the first post noted the Android app is working ok for USB -> Artists.

My temporary solution to this issue for anyone who checks in on this post is to use the old Windows controller. You have to decline the new update every time you start up, but other than that it works the same as before (with the old graphics and stuff, not as appealing, but functional).

  • Hi Anton...

...or please select Help, Send Support Request so we can help troubleshoot. It is very difficult for us to resolve issues we cannot diagnose...

    Hi again,

I have already sent a support request. The reply I received was that this issue is not intended behaviour and that the crew is gathering feedback after the 3.0 release before rolling out a new update later. Seeing as this does nothing to alleviate the issue right now I decided to temporarily go back to the old controller until a new update is ready.
