Excluding folders from Music Library?

How do I exclude folders from my music library?

I have all my music in my shared "Music" folder, but want to exclude some sub-folders within that shared folder so they don't play on my bluesound units.

  Hi Ian

  File Sharing is an all or nothing situation. You cannot prevent folders from being Indexed. You may want to consider creating two folders of Music then and only share on of them.

  5 years ago and - sorry - the "share" argument still sounds questionable.

  I have a mp3 legacy folder and definitely do not want to listen to any data reduced tunes via my node.

  So a feature to exclude folders would definitely make sense.

  Same goes for flac/wav duplicates

  Library - Albums, Filter by Quality

  Delete the wav-files.

  Thanks for the tip.

  However, I want to keep some (no other format available) mp3s, so I'll just rearrange my folder structure accordingly.

  Deleting all WAV is not an option, since I have not converted everything to flac yet. 

  An "exclude folder" option would still be the simplest, most user friendly implementation for anyone, who prefers control over a system making decisions for them (annoying enough there is no default "show all" toggle).
