    I get this from time to time.

    "Rebuild Index" always solves it.

    Glad to hear this. I have investigated a bit more.
    There are 15.129 tracks on my iTunes. In this specific case I deleted last ripped album from iTunes (delete files on disk) and then I copy that (iTunes lib) to my Synology NAS using Syncronize! pro X which will delete files and folders not anymore on the source, so the NAS copy should be current. The Node2 is set to stream from the NAS.

    A rebuild of player takes 107 minutes... this a killer

    A reindex of player takes 80 seconds, this is absolutely OK

    what I found after all this was that there would still be shown the album title on player... so something must have stuck in there after all.

    then I ripped album again and ran the whole procedure, getting  the capitalised titles :-(

    It is possible to get titles back by editing every title in the erroneous album by inserting a character in title (best choice is a blank somewhere inside title, putting it at end does not work)

    running rebuild again will now show titles correct... but if you adjust cover art later, you will kill the titles again

    So I am looking forward to a good fix

    Ok I tried it out today, changed the artwork (flipped one cover-art), put it on NAS, re-indexed and, bingo song titles stayed.

    one funny thing, cover stayed un-flipped on my iPhone :-) until I killed the app and started it again, then cover was as on my desktop Mac

    @Tony - this is Dan from the bliss project, just interested if this issue has been resolved... how does it relate to the new controller and desktop app releases?

    No relation to the New Desktop App. There was an issue with updating Metadata that was quickly identified and was an easy fix so made yesterday's maintenance release. This was affecting all Players regardless of your choice of Controller App OS Flavour.
