Can the Vault 2 be used as NAS?

Hi guys,

I have a Naim Uniti Atom and am thinking of upgrading my multiroom system to Bluesound. 

If I got a Vault 2 to rip and store all my CDs would this work as a NAS for my Naim Uniti to pick up and play tracks from?

  Yes it can - The music is available via Windows Sharing under \\VAULT-xxxx\Shared\Music

  Replace VAULT-xxxx with whatever you named the VAULT in your BluOS App Player or the IP Address of the VAULT in your Diagnostics Page under Help. If you do use the IP, set a DHCP reservation in your router (see your router documentation to do this) so the VAULT always receives the same IP even after a power outage.

  Hello,

  I am thinking of buying a Naim Infiniti Atom or Nova per above (I already on a Vault 2i).  What connection do you suggest for connecting the Vault to the Atom?  What app would control the music?  Would both apps need to be used as I read somewhere else?  Would it is still be seamless experience?  Thank you.

  Armando Sanchez The Vault provides a network share as TonyW post above details. The Vault requires an Ethernet cable wired back to your router.

  The Vault / Bluesound app does not control third party hardware, only BluOS devices.
