Node 2 as a pre-amp?

Hi.

I have a pair of B&O active speakers and was planning to buy Node 2 to run them. These speakers have a RCA line in.

Am I correct in assuming that the "Audio out" RCA ports can do this? I can control Volume, Bass, Treble, Balance etc. through the app?
