Hi Can someone explain the benefits of the presets?

Currently I have an HT Group, and presets of TV, Movie and Music. But some of the presets settings are synced anyway ? Eg. Surround trim, and stereo surround.

If would be beneficial if these settings , if not all of the settings was NOT synced between the presets.

Am I missing something on how this is supposed to work.

Secondly ain’t it possible if I select / play Spotify and/or tidal, that it then would auto select the “music” preset. Going in and selecting it after is tedious. Thanks.

  Not sure exactly what you're asking but presets in BluOS are hand as each player can have up to 40.   You could make your favorite Tidal daily mix preset one, Spotifiy playlist two,  local USB playlist 3, RadioParadise channel 4..... etc.   One push of a button or one tap on the phone sets the player to playing that.   Does not really affect "settings" so much as a quick way to play classical, or blues or a different service (TuneIn radio.... Pandora... etc).
