Can the new PULSE FLEX be safely used in a bathroom ?
AnsweredHi everyone,
I’m interested in using the new Bluesound PULSE FLEX in my bathroom.
I know that the typical operating humidity range is 20%–80%, but in a bathroom, humidity can often exceed that level during and after a shower.
Can anyone (or Bluesound support) confirm whether this new model is safe to use in such an environment — or if it’s better to avoid it entirely?
If not recommended, are there any BluOS-compatible speakers designed for higher humidity or outdoor use?
Thanks a lot for your help!

Hi Xavier,
The current PULSE FLEX 2i has an IP rating of 1, which means it offers minimal protection against moisture. Because of this, we don’t recommend using it in areas with high humidity or where it may be exposed to water, such as a washroom. As for the new PULSE FLEX 2025, it is still in testing and does not yet have an official IP rating. Hope this helps.
Thanks for #LivingHiFi
