    Hi Ray,

Try changing the app settings in your mobile controller, In IOS, Settings >> Apps >> BluOS >> Cellular Data (Disable).

If you continue to have issues, please reach out to our support crew by sending us an email at support@bluesound.com

You can also try resetting Wi-Fi in iOS, if you drill down under reset in Settings you can just select reset Wi-Fi. You do have to enter you Wi-Fi credentials again but it often helps (me at least) with Wi-Fi issues after an iOS update.

@Mark T. Many thanks. I’ve turned Mobile Data off. Let’s see how that goes.
@Seppi Evans, I’ll try that should the problem persist, thanks.

Seven days on and when I returned home this morning the BlueOS app fails to find the Icon despite turning Mobile Data off. It made no difference.

I rebooted my phone and tried again. Still no joy despite me being able to access websites via my WiFi proving it has successfully connected to my iPhone.

I had to unplug the Icon, wait 30 secs and plug back in. When the clock showed I launched the app and it found my player within five seconds.

I’m not prepared to reset my WiFi because one app has a problem connecting to hardware which hasn’t moved and remained connected to my WiFi network.

I feel I need to raise a ticket to get this resolved.

Why is my earlier post still awaiting approval after 11 hours? I’m an owner of your most expensive streamer. This is not how I expect to be treated.

Hi Ray, post that go into approval can take time before they are flagged unfortunately. If the post does not have a link in it then editing the post can sometime make it show. As this is a “community” forum Bluesound do check in daily (working days) rather than constantly monitoring posts, but they do read everything.

Mark T’s post said to contact Bluesound by email if you continue to have issues so probably the best route.

@Seppi Evans. It is mysterious why it’s still awaiting approval. I’ll email them, thanks.
