BluOS 4.12.4 has broken my Sub+. When will Bluesound fix this?
AnsweredSince upgrading to 4.12.4 my Sub+ (connected to a Soundbar+) booms uncontrollably when playing TV audio. This has been confirmed by Support as being a firmware issue. So my 1 month old Sub+ is now useless.
Less seriously, HDMI auto-sense appears to have stopped working,
From review of Community posts, and searching the net, there are a number of other reported issues with this release. But as the main 4.12.4 release page does not reference any known defects I thought it would be helpful to share details of this bug here (it might also be helpful for others to document their issues).
As this release has prevented me using the Sub+, can Bluesound provide guidance on expected timescales to fix the problem?

On Tuesday, October 7th, look for an update to BluOS 4.12.11 that will address both changes to subwoofer levelling and resolve an issue affecting older DIRAC filters on new DIRAC libraries. This BluOS wide release will bring NAD 2-channel products back in line with Bluesound and other BluOS-supported products, including Qobuz Connect, Spotify Lossless and the new Queue Builder Mode released in late September. Look for an update notification within 24 hours of approximately 9:00 am tomorrow, Eastern North American Time.

This fix appears to have resolved the issue with the Sub+. Thank you.
I'm still of the view that other issues raised by 4.12.4, in terms of software quality, transparency of communication to customers and lack of information on likely resolution timescales are serious in themselves. I've seen no acknowledgement of this by the Support Crew or responses to issues raised in the Community forums.
I'd appreciate some feedback on these points and will be looking for positive improvements. Until then I'll be deferring my planned investment in the system, specifically in Powernode 2025 units.
