Powernode (2025) & Pulse Flex 2i

Hello.
I am new to Bluesound as of one week ago. I am the owner of the new 2025 power node along with 2 x Pulse Flex 2i's to be used as wireless surrounds.
I'm running Monitor Audio Gold LCR and of course the pulse flex' as surrounds.
I adopted the two pulse's onto the poernode over wifi (unifi) and locked them to the nearest access point. Fine - that worked and I can see the two speakers as clients on the network.
It's only when creating a home theatre group that the 2 x surrounds drop offline completely. The theatre group is created and then a couple of mins after it disappears completely along with the speakers.
This is too much hard work to get working.
Not only that, the 'surround audio' option on the Powernode as a player doesn't work and does not even send audio to the centre channel, only the L&R.
In the app the centre channel toggle will turn itself off along with the subwoofer setting too.
Is there an expected and fully fledged firmware/software update to come on this?
What is going on here?

The rears in the OP were locked to an access point, a HT group creates is own local mesh for the rears so should have been left to their own devices.
