Bugs with Tidal in bluos.
I want to create a new topic about this after finding more bugs. First the age old bug when I go to my favorites list some albums are showing up twice. What it does is it replaces another album on my list with one that is already there, so then I end up with some showing as double and also with an album missing because of that. Then I have to check Tidals own app to find out what album that are missing and have been replaced. Very annoying.
Also when you go to some artist you will see some of their albums listed multiple times. An example if you go to Sabrina Carpenter you will see her latest album is listed 6 times, same for some of her EP's are also listen several times. In Tidals own app everything is clean without all these extras.
Also I find the bluos app to be slow, when I click around it oftes takes several seconds for a page to load, the same thing when you scroll down your list of favorites it is very slow, suddenly it stops and you have to wait for the next section of the list to load. In Tidals own app you can just drag the slider fast all the way down on your list, no waiting time. In bluos it can take a few minutes to get to the end of the list because you have to scroll and scroll for a long time to get from A - Z. Specially if you have a long list of favorites.
Please if you can look into some of these bugs and try to fix them, these bugs are very old and I have a feeling that they will never be fixed.

Hi Tom
To correct your Favourites, please log out and log back into TIDAL. This issue is in the TIDAL API and has been reported to them as such for some time...
As for multiple copies of the album, the TIDAL App assumes what resolution based on your plan. In BluOS we provide the choice of HiRes or CD Quality. Check the quality indicator in the bottom right below the album. We also offer the released album, or if offered, the Deluxe version as many artists release different versions of the album.
Finally, the time lag sounds more networking-related... send us a log file at Settings, Send Support Request so our Support Crew may take a closer look. They will reach out directly via email. -
The time lag is not related to network I think, it has always taken a long time to scroll from A-Z - In Tidals own app you can drag the slider all the way down in one go without having to load page list after page. But I will try send you a log file then you can check.
As for the doubles I will try to login and out again and see if it fixes anything but I doubt.
Also for the multiple copies of Sabrina Carpenter I just checked again, 4 of them were in CD Quality and 2 of them were in HiRes, so as you can see there is a problem, there should only be one of each.0 -
Btw. under create support case after I fill out the fields and click send, is the log file then automatically send also ? Cause I dont see any other settings for sending the log file, so I guess its being send automatically with the support case right ?

I just tried logging out and back into Tidal again, but the problems with double albums is still there, so as suspected it didnt work. I just checked Tidals own app to see what album that was replaced in bluos as a double. What is does it takes an other album from that same artist and replace it with one that is already on the list, so then you end up with a double, and with an album missing, then you have to go to Tidals own app to find out what album that are missing and have been replaced in bluos.
I send the team a support case / log file so will have to wait and see what they have to say. I didnt mention anything about the doubles albums only the slowness / lag. After I logged out and in of Tidal the lag seems a bit better now when I tested opening a few albums they opened faster so thats good, will keep an eye and see if it stays like that.0 -
I spoke to soon, I just opened my ipad again and clicked an album on my list and it took a few seconds to load. Oh well.
