Turntable on Node 2 - transfer sound to other units

I have two Node 2 units in my setup.

Unit 1 is used for the TV and receives the signal via the optical port – no problems there.
Unit 2 I want to use for my turntable via the analog port, and this Node does not have speakers connected.

When I select Unit 2 and choose analog input, I can't transfer the sound from it to Unit 1 or to the BlueSound Mini I also have – is that correct?

If I create a fixed group with Unit 1 and Unit 2, I can't select the analog input; it seems I can only choose optical, which means TV sound everywhere, but not the turntable.

I’ve tried creating a shortcut on the home screen for analog input, but it’s only visible when I use Unit 2 alone, not when I’ve grouped Unit 1 and Unit 2 in a fixed group.

Is there a solution for how I can either create a fixed group and choose either analog or optical input within it, or start Unit 2, select analog, then transfer the sound from Unit 2 to the other devices in my setup?

  Have you tried grouping Unit 2 with Unit 1, where Unit 2 is the parent device.
