NAD M50.2 and faulty software 4.10.11
AnsweredMy NAD 50.2 was working fine with the last update 4.10.10. I installed the new software 4.10.11. Since then, nothing has worked. The 50.2 no longer turns on or off normally with my M32. The M50.2 only starts when I turn the main power off and on again. After that, I can switch to playback mode. As soon as I turn off the devices (M50.2/M32), the M50.2 no longer turns on. This also happens when I turn off the M50.2 solo. The playlists are no longer sorted and cannot be sorted. As I said, the system worked perfectly before.
Will you ever reinstate playlist backups?

UPDATED OFFICIAL COMMENT
Look for a release of BluOS 4.10.14 starting today (July 16th 2025) that will be sent to only the NAD M50.2 to resolve the player from not coming out of standby.
Thanks for your patience and we do apologise for the inconvenience.

Hi Wolfgang
Our Quality Assurance Team has replicated your issue with the NAD M50.2 not coming out of stand-by and are working with our Product Development team to release a targeted version of BluOS to just the M50.2 in the coming days to resolve this issue.
As for Playlist Backup, yes, we do hope to release a new backup feature to store copies of your playlists on your phone, tablet or PC in the early fall of this year.

Thanks for the tip. I installed 4.10.13. The problems remain the same; nothing has improved or changed.

Hi, I have a similar problem after the last software, still the same after the very last software today.
After 15 minutes, when the M50.2 has turned into standby, I have to reboot the player to be able to get access to the blusound app again. (The same for roon) Even the touch switch on top of the player doesn't work either. Screen only lights up for a few tenths of a second. Reboot is necessary to make the player work.0 -
I just installed BluOs 4.10.14. Now the M50.2 boots normally again.
One downside: the playlists are no longer in alphabetical order. Any change to get it solved?
Thanks for the quick support
