SpotiFlyer download the files from YouTube, (not from Spotify). SpotiFlyer use ffmpeg to encode the files, and ffmpeg is some times rather erratic and add garbage to the files.
Solution, reencode your files, or use a tool named "MP3val-frontend" that in most cases can fix your erratic files.

I am having the exact same issue for some classical albums, except that my files are flac. I have 1000+ albums, and and been using Mp3Tag to edit the ID 3 metadata tags for years, so I am familiar with process of maintaining the library. I have also reindexed my library under settings, and via help--> diagnostics-->rebuild index, neither way resolved the issue. I have submited a "send support request" via the Windows App.

I am aware of various errors in BluOS related to tagging, but I do not believe this is one of them. Just like you I have a large classical FLAC collection and use mp3tag.

Possibly, this is caused by having two albums with the same album title and album artist but different artist (or vice versa, not sure which combi would go wrong). As a consequence, the tracks of the first album would be listed under the second album, which will show a mix of the two album's tracks. The first album will not be shown at all.

Another thing to verify is whether the number of tracks shown on the BluOS controller's diagnostics page matches the number of tracks in your collection, e.g. as shown by mp3tag.

FLAC is a fantastic audio container, as it allows verification of the structure of the files as well as the integrity of the audio data, the latter by a checksum stored in the file. You may wish too verify the specific albums that appear missing, or even verify your entire FLAC collection.

Note that FLAC uses Vorbis comment for tagging, not ID3.

PG - thanks for the feedback. I definitely do not have duplicates of the albums, and, interestingly, BluOS shows 30 more songs than what I have for file count. I have opened a case with support, and if I learn anything from support I will post it here.

Also, thanks for the clarification on Vorbis comment.

Had BluOS showing less tracks than my library contained, caused by long pathnames. Seems to have been fixed now. But showing more, that is truly weird!

Even weirder, I just discovered that the issue seems to be associated with the artist tag, or number of songs associated with the artist tag. I have a large classical music collection, with many Beethoven albums. I just added a few Beethoven albums, and interestingly, if the artist tag is Ludwig van Beethoven, the albums do not appear under "new." If the artist tag is the musician playing Beethoven, then the albums do appear under "new." I prefer to have the artist tag contain Ludwig van Beethoven, and the album artist tag contain the musician. So, I probably have thousands of Beethoven songs across the albums, and now it makes me think that there may a limit to what is displayed as new for a particular artist?

The algorithm used by BluOS to determine which tracks constitute an album is flawed.

In certain cases it even depends on how the music files are organised in the folder structure, instead of solely depending on the tag metadata!

What I was referring to in my first comment are not duplicate albums, but albums with the same title.

Example: title = "Violin concerto", artist = "Beethoven", album(1) artist = "Maxim Vengerov" and album(2) artist = "Itzhak Perlman"

These two albums will be joined into a single new album Violin concerto by artist Beethoven containing 6 tracks.

I had a support cased opened related to this issue (new albums not appearing), and they were able to replicate this issue on their end. My Node received a firmware update a couple of days ago, and after the update and reindexing my music library the albums that were not showing up now in fact appear under new. So, the issue is resolved on my end...hopefully it addressed your issue as well.
