Track order incorrect
AnsweredI've ripped a CD into my Vault 2i but when I look at it in the BluOS controller, the tracks are in alphabetical order. I've checked with Mp3tag and they seem to be numbered correctly (in the 'track' column they are numbered from 1-10) but even after a rebuild they appear alphabetically in the BluOS controller.
I'm probably doing something wrong but I can't work out what ...
Any advice much appreciated.

I've now done a rebuild which seems to have sorted it and I've re-read the article and think I now understand it.
Thanks for your help,

By any chance you haven’t changed the sorting order?

I haven't changed the sorting order but if I look at the album via
artist > album the tracks are in alphabetical order.
If I look at the album via
album > title the tracks are in the correct order.
Since the artist in this case starts with an E and the album title starts with TI (so after all the The albums) there's a big overhead in finding it.
I couldn't see where in the sorting order I could correct it but I'd be happy to be pointed in the right direction.
Thanks, Cliff (iPhone running latest OS)

Did you use rebuild or reindex? In the iOS / Android BluOS App please select Settings, Help & Support, Diagnostics, Rebuild Index from the home page. This will purge and recreate a Music Library of your library.
When viewing you can change the sort order, please check the doc I linked to.
Probably best to contact support, in the BluOS App please select Settings, Send Support Request, the Bluesound Support Crew will be able review the log file and take a closer look.

I did a Reindex because I know a Rebuild takes quite a while, given the size of my library. I'll do a Rebuild and go watch some TV :-)
