Node ICON, function to disable the top touch panel.

My cat, who loves the height and warmth of the ICON device, sometimes rests her front paws and leans her body against it. After she leaves, all the buttons on the touch panel start blinking, and inputs, track controls, and volume adjust erratically. This continues until I restart the device via the app or unplug it. I suspect this is due to static electricity from her fur, and since I can't change the physical phenomenon, I desperately need a function to disable the top touch panel.
