Cannot see analog and optical input sources

I am trying to connect a source via either the Analog or Optical inputs. However, while both (analog and Opt) input options are available in the 'source customisation' page, they do not appear in the input sources option in the control trey. I have made sure that the 'hide source' is disabled. In essence the only input source options that i have available are the HDMI and Bluetooth.
