Nano cannot see my server share, why?
AnsweredHi!
I just got a Nano and right away I am confused why the app is having issues finding my network share.
I have zero issues with other products like the WiiM Ultra I am also testing.
I tried all formats possible and it just wont find it.
\\MUSICSHARE\Music
\\OPENMEDIAVAULT\Music
also tried with the IP. All options that work on my other devices just not this one.
Any suggestions please?
PS I cannot send it from Emby to the Nano either as I can with some other streamers. I thought that could be a quick fix.

Emby, looking at the website it’s looking for a DLNA endpoint which BluOS is not so will not work. BluOS does however support Roon.
For help with your network share, in the BluOS App please select Settings, Send Support Request, the Bluesound Support Crew will be able review the log file and take a closer look.
Must be something local as I have no issues adding network shares from a NAS, worth checking you have SMB running (min 2.1)

yeah I just realized Bluesound doesnt support DLNA..that is an insane move (not matter how much the company tries to sell the "CONS" of DLNA).
I saw that it has been asked for a long time and the company just ignores the request. Bad bad move.
Sadly this will be a quick return back to Crutchfield.
Every other device I have used works just fine so I am not going to spend time fixing something the company should have taken care of already. Listen to your customers!
Thanks for the confirmation.0
