Tablet for Bluos?

Hi,

My eyes are tired of using my iphone as a controller. Can anyone recommend a tablet to run the Bluos? I was looking at the Amazon Fire, but I can't tell if that is compatible with the Bluos. I'm not looking to spend a lot of cash on what will essentially only be used as a remote control.

    I too really dislike using my iPhone ... the iPad works well ... 

    It is funny, but the only thing I use my 10 year old iPad for is BlueSound ... but I must say, I truly prefer my laptop as the interface ...

    Even though I am perfectly able to read on the i-phone, thanks to progressive glasses, which I wear as soon as I get up, I prefer to use an i-pad for all kind of apps, reading the news, check my bank, …. I-phone is way too limited, I only use it when out of the house.
    Why not get a refurbished I-pad, they are quite cheap these days.
