Tidal Connect drops
AnsweredWhen I use Tidal Connect to connect to my Bluesound Nodes from my Android phone, the connection drops and needs to be re-established when I access a different album or playlist. I do not have this problem with Tidal Connect on my Windows laptop. Note that I have 2 Bluesound Nodes and the problem happens with both. I have removed and re-installed Tidal, to no avail.

Hi Jeff,
To get things back on track, let's begin with a full network restart, including your Bluesound player/s. This should help clear up any network-related hiccups you might be facing. If you still encounter any issues please don’t hesitate to reach out to Tidal support.

I validated with Tidal support that it's a bug in their latest update. On Android, that was Sept 24 and they say a new update will fix that in "a few weeks." However, I went back to listening to Tidal via native Bluos and there is no problem. In fact , I like it better than Tidal Connect because it gives better info about the quality and duration of a song. So as long as l am using Tidal at home, it will be via native Bluos from now on.
