Organizing Qobuz Library in the BlueSound App
AnsweredI switched from Tidal to Qobuz some time ago. Whereas Tidal worked well within the BlueSound App with my Qubuz library there seems no way to organize it. Albums show up only in the order in which they were made favourites and added to my library. This is pretty much useless if you have a large library. When I was with Tidal I could view my albums alphabetically by artist for instance so that I could easily find things. Is there anything I can do so I can organize my library in a logical way in order to stream it through my Node? I don't want to add the expense of something like Roon.
Thanks,
Garth

Hi Garth
The funtionality you request is available in TIDAL's API but not in Qobuz's. Since it is not in Qobuz's documentation BluOS cannot implement it. Thanks for understanding.

The ability to sort tracks within playlists is not in the Qobuz API, BUT the ability to sort playlists alphabetically in “My Playlists” is in the Qobuz API. This is implemented in the Qobuz app and many 3rd party streaming apps, including WiiM and Eversolo. BluOS is the only app I’ve used that doesn’t do this. THIS IS NOT A QOBUZ PROBLEM.

Sorry Tony, I for one am NOT understanding ... the ability to sort, edit playlists is a function that is sorrily lacking ... and has been noted and asked for repeatedly ... along with the ability to back playlists up ...
To me it is one of the fundemantal weakness of BlueSound ... yet, regardless of how many times it is noted there has been, as far as I can see, not even a recognition by BlueSound that playlist management is something that should be addressed ... alas
