Adding a song to my Play list

Hi, I have my Blusound player with the BluOS Controller on an old XP laptop. I'm trying to add  a song to a Play list which I created years ago when I first purchased the unit. I can see all my song and albums in a folder on the laptop but the BluOS controller doesn't see the newly added songs in that folder. How do I get the new songs to appear on the BluOS Controller screen so that I can add them to the play list?

Please help! (I'm not a computer geek!)

    Did you also do a "rebuild index" or "re index" on your player?

    Hi Alain, Thank you so much for your quick and precise response to my question. I did "Reindex music collection" and that fixed the problem. My new music files became visible.
