    Hi Lars,

The only way I can see this happening is through Bluetooth connection or if both of you somehow shares a network.

If its through Bluetooth connection, I would suggest only turning on your Bluesound player's Bluetooth connection when you need it.

if you are connected in the same network, I would suggest installing your own local router to separate yourself from his network. This way, you can protect your hifi equipments to make sure you are the only one using it.

Why not rename your own player?

    To Ian S

I have renamed both players in my app, so I will not confuse them but I do not want a player that does not belong to me in my app at all.....

And to Mark T, we do not share a network, but may have a bluetooth connection that covers both apartments. Possibly that is the reason, they were both named the same som I have have connected with his during setup... But still want his player out of the app. Why is there noe a «delete player« option?

Hi Lars, are you saying that you can see your neighbours Bluesound device(s) listed in the BluOS App and can select to play music / adjust settings?

  • Hi Seppi - yes his device it is listed in my BS app. I can play music through his speakers, which is how we discovered this problem, and that is even though his powernode is attached to his own network, to which I do not even have the password. So maybe it is a BT-related thing. I just want it deleted from my players list, but I cannot find a delete option for players.

Hi Lars, in that case somehow your networks are connected as for BluOS devices to appear in the app they need to be on your local network. If the connection is broken then the player will disappear from the BluOS App.

I would start by renaming the Router and then change the SSID and password, appreciate this involves work on your part having to reconnect all devices.

It’s possible that your neighbour has the same Router and SSID / password configured.

If it appeared in the Spotify App then that’s a different issue.
