Powernode left channel fault

Hi all. Since some time my left hand channel of my powernode stoped working. If i remove the wire from my speakers (monitor audio bronze series) it works again. And after a short time the speaker stops working again. What to do?

  Check the speaker wires at the rear of the POWERNODE, make absolutely sure there are no stray wires, remove and reinsert them.

  Next try swapping the speakers over, quickest way is to swap the cables at the rear of the POWERNODE and see if the issue moves to the Right speaker.

  Yes, that was the first thing i tried. Seems its not the cable. Then the other channel dies.
