Recognise when a track is tagged with more than one Genre
AnsweredIf tracks are tagged with multiple genre's only the first one is recognised.
I'm aware of this thread:
Where Tony W https://support1.bluesound.com/hc/en-us/profiles/498373226-Tony-W states the following:
Rock; Pop; Electro - this song will be filed under Rock; Pop; Electro when you filter by genre. When you search for any of Rock, Pop or Electro it will appear as a search result. this is pretty standard in any database.
Unfortunately, Tony's answer isn't correct. Tracks with multiple tagged genre's that use "; " as the delimiter are listed only under the first genre, not under all of them.
If the team think's they've implemented this, but it doesn't work, maybe this is more of a bug report than a feature request.

Hi Phil,
I will forward your feedback to our quality assurance and developers for future update consideration.
Thanks for #LivingHiFi -
Thanks Phil Jones, Mark T & the Development Team.
I'm new to BluOS and surprised to find Genres are not parsed into individual components.
I've tried to be consistent when adding Genre tags over the years however, the order in which I've added genre tags has not. BluOS appears to treat "Contemporary Jazz; Sooth Jazz" uniquely from "Smooth Jazz; Contemporary Jazz".
I'm not convinced that re-ordering all my Genre tags would achieve the level of functionality I've experienced with other platforms.
I have searched thru previous post regarding Genres and see that others submitted similar posts
I've upvoted this and other request pertaining Genres.
BluOS ver: 4.12.11
Respectfully,
Dave
