    Hi Ian

Pretty much. The BluOS App is designed to be uniformed across the board to keep a similar experience for all.

    Many thanks.

I would not sweat too much about 'out of support'. If you are using the tablet for just controlling bluesound, there is really no risk.
I use a 2015 samsung, which has an HD display as a dedicated controller. No problems.

    Many thanks.

To be honest, I originally bought the iPad for the single purpose of controlling my Vault 2, but it didn't take too long for it to become an all-purpose web browsing, emailing, and everything else tool. Hence the need to replace it.

One thing that I have observed is that now that I am being reminded that the iPad will soon be going out of support, it's performance as a web browser has very seriously deteriorated. A suspicious person might believe that this is not a coincidence, but I'm not a suspicious person, so I won't mention that. :)

In short, I will probably keep the iPad as an extra remote control and a web browser for very patient and unflappable guests, but I do need a new tablet device.

I would add that the display is not "uniformed" as claimed. Don't know about the Mac, but my Windows display is definitely different from IOS or Android. Even though my Android tablet has lots of screen real estate.

Agree with woodie they are all different. The best is Windows as all of the useful buttons are in the taskbar which stays there on all screens. Why not just have a task bar like that on all of them?
