Is the Hub all I need…
AnsweredFollowed by 2 people
I’ve got an Rotel A12 integrated amp, with CD Player and TT attached. The amp drives a pair of wharfedale speakers in living room. Only streaming I do is Apple Music that I connect direct to the A12 via USB or Bluetooth thru an olde iPhone 8..
Looking to connect from my amp’s pre+out to the Bluesound HUB that would wirelessly drive a Pulse M speaker in another room, and another Pulse on our deck. I’ll continue using the wharfedale in living room.
I’d only feed audio to ONE room at a time, ie, if feeding to one of the Pulse speakers, I’d have both passive speakers off on my A12.
Sonos Portwould work, but I’ve heard great things about Bluesound Hub. I’m assuming the Hub would stream audio feed via WiFi to the Pulse using home wifi. AND, no need to add another Bluesound component (other than the speaker) in the remote rooms….

Hi Rick
If I am understanding correctly, you want the main system to play and use the PULSE M and/or the PULSE to echo what ever the main system is playing. If I am understanding you correctly then yes that should work by connecting the Amp pre-outs to the HUB.
Once setup, select the HUB as a source on the PULSE M or PULSE... as an added bonus, you can group the two PULSE players too.
