USB transfer into Vault permanent library, possible?
AnsweredI have an older Vault and downloaded my first HD Tracks music onto an external USB drive as instructed by HD Tracks. Yes, I can go find it while the USB is plugged into the back of the Vault, but can I move it into the Vault library with all the CD's I've ripped in the last few years?
Thank you!!

You can copy pretty much any music into the VAULT’s share, however you need to plug the USB drive into a computer and copy it across your network as there is no means in the BluOS App to copy from the external USB drive the internal one.

Seppi: I downloaded the file off the HD Tracks site on an Apple laptop onto an external USB drive. Good. It worked. Stuck the USB into the back of the Vault and YES, I can see it in the USB file.... I'd like to move it over to the LIBRARY where all my ripped CDs live... Possible or not?
Thank you.
PS. Old guy, not super tech savvy...

Yes relatively easy, in finder you will have a networks / shared option, you should be able to browse, find the VAULT and then the music share. Bluesound have a document here to help.

Thank you. Old guy, not there yet...
From the link you sent above;
- From the Finder menu, select Go > Connect to Server.
- In the Server Address field, enter the VAULT's drive URL in the following format:
I see no: GO anywhere, so I can't find "connect to server"... This is all on my iPhone 15. Tried on my Apple Airbook and won't download an "AP" as they are "incompatible with this type of device"....
Thoughts?

Once you open finder at the very top of your Mac screen will be the menu options that can drop down, one is called GO.
Do this on the Airbook as the iPhone does not have finder also you cannot connect the USB drive to your phone.
No idea what the “AP” is. Probably best to contact support, in the BluOS App please select Settings, Send Support Request, so the Bluesound Support Crew can review the log file and take a closer look.

Yeah, not working... I did figure out there are 2 Apple "APs" to download on a computer: 1) Apple for devices and 2) is for MAC computer. Great got another step... No "go" button anywhere nor anything I can pull down asking to connect to a server.
Bottom line: I now have both the BluOs controller on my "doc" on the computer and HD Tracks as well... Just san't figure out the "simple" procedure to move the downloaded music out of the USB and into my Vault library so far... Appreciate the help...
