DIRAC license purchase

Hey all,

I was pleased to read about the DIRAC live integration and the 30% discount. Especially that it is going to be available even on older machines soon(TM)!
Now I was wondering if a) I should purchase a license now for 30% off and apply it later to my echosystem and also if b) one license is enough per household holding multiple nodes and powernodes?

    Hi Krang

    The current discount expires on January 31st, 2025. This feeds into your second question, when you purchase you will have to specify the make and model of the product you are using DIRAC on. The DIRAC licensing model is one license that covers one player.

    For example, if you have a NODE ICON in your living room and a POWERNODE N330 in your TV room, you will need two copies of DIRAC to correct both devices, one for the ICON and one for the POWERNODE.

    I purchased a Node Icon yesterday, and am eager to learn how to obtain the mentioned 30% discount for the dirac live function... Will I get access to a discount code by registering my unit?

    Starting last September when we announced the Partnership of DIRAC coming to Bluesound, there was an e-messaging campaign via our Newsletter for people to to visit DIRAC.com and sign up to be notified when the launch would happen. Those early subscribers received a notice from DIRAC which included the promo code when DIRAC went on sale for Bluesound earlier this week.

    At least I havent received any discount code after signing up.
    Have to admit that it is a bit dissapointing that registering a newly bought unit does not yeild a similar discount as the DIRAC implementation in the Bluesound Icon is used as a selling point.

    I would like to buy the full live dirac licence for my Node icon using the 30% code but the bluesound room caibration kit is still not available.
    So, by waiting on the possibility to order the calibration mic kit , the discount code isn't working anymore.
    I did email the nearest bluesound dealer last week in the Netherlands and he wrote to me he couldn't order them yet.
    I don't like this at all.
